It's hit or miss here. I've had some great manicures and pedicures, but I've also had some not so great ones. I stay with pedicures now though. The last time I had a manicure to shape my natural nails, the lady doing it wasn't listening and cut one way short when I said that I just wanted it shaped. She also cut my skin a few times and didn't give me back correct change. They also have their fav clients and will rush you through when a regular comes in. Mimi was my favorite, but I never see her in there anymore.
Going to places like salons makes me nervous. I have trouble communicating and don't generally know what the appropriate terms are or what to ask for. The ladies here are very nice and take great care of me. Helen is my favorite but they all do a great job. Nothing is painful and my feet feel clean and dreamy afterwards. The ladies are happy to socialize or leave me to quietly play on my phone. I appreciate them and their service.
You pay for what you get. A simple acrylic set was only $55 and they were quick and super friendly.
They didn't trim my cuticles at all so the acrylic nails looked super grown out after a week and 2 nails broke 1.5 weeks after getting them done. They broke from me hitting them on a table while passing by and not super hard either which was a bit disappointing.
I would probably go again but it wouldn't be my first choice
