Planet Fitness in Elk River is a wonderful place to get set up at for your daily workouts. They have a wide variety of workout equipment available that allows you to hit each part of your body. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions one may have. I highly recommend Planet Fitness in Elk River!
Planet fitness has been good to me. The big selling point is of course the value. The price point is GREAT. For what you get with the black card membership -tanning, massage chairs, hydro massage, all locations.. Plus a nice sized venue, showers, a storefront. You can't really beat all that for under $30 bucks. Do I miss the pool, basketball court, sauna, jacuzzi at past pricier places? Sure. But none of those have close enough locations. This is perfect for me and the atmosphere is overall very positive. Quite content with my membership.
Solid little planet fitness. I've gone to four different locations and this is always the best. Staff are very nice, place is always relatively clean, equipment is almost always in order (I go 5x a week and there has never been a day that I have been unable to workout due to a machine being out of order). Only issue I've ever dealt with is the drinking fountain area, which has experienced various problems that are being fixed. Overall, a very good beginner friendly cheap gym!
