I'm not very impressed with Eagle Tree Service. I'm rating them 1 STAR for having the job explained to them in precise detail on the phone but then refusing the job in person...and letting his dog run around my yard and pee on my shrubs & flowers. And I'm rating them 3 STARS for actually showing up and being nice. (He did actually apologize to me when I pushed the matter and asked what his problem was.) I'm averaging it out to 2 STARS and a complete waste of time. I called the owner on September 12th. He actually returned my call and set an appointment with me. (That's more than I can say about many of the tree care companies that I've been calling.) But on September 18th, he hung out for half & hour and told me he didn't want to do the job...despite the fact that I told him on the phone EXACTLY what the job was, how many shrubs I had, what species they are, how big they are, where they're located, and what I want done. What??? In addition, he brought his dog with him and let him out of his truck without asking permission. His Black Lab proceeded to run around my yard and piss on all of my shrubs - NOT cool. I have a 160 pound mastiff that would rip up another dog running around on our property. Fortunately, my big girl wasn't outside or Eagle Tree Service and I would have probably ended up in court (and the veterinary hospital). This dude was a nice guy. But I don't know why he even bothered to show up and waste both of our time. Silly. I wish I could sent him a bill for my time. This is the second company I called off the "2018 Licensed Tree Care Arborists Serving the City of Anoka (see photo) that was a big failure. -Daddy Maxx Retro
