“Victorine was an absolute gem!! I contacted her in January of this year and she scheduled an appointment with me right away. My wedding is coming up this weekend, June 8th. She kept my dress safe at her home until I was ready for alterations to begin. She met with me on three weeks in a row to complete the alterations, hemming and steaming of the dress. Thread match is perfect, crisp hems with the non-visible inside just as precise as the outside, and suitable tension for hard-to-alter stretchy fabrics. Yes hemming is easier, but I've had other shops do this poorly. Not here. Very impressed. I brought them a more challenging alteration and believe it will be done very well. John's is under new ownership and I really think the new tailor is very capable.“
