I've gone twice now to see Millie for a hydra facial. She is amazing! The Metropolitan, as a whole, is also fantastic! It's clean, comfortable and all the staff I have interacted with a very kind and professional. You feel and look great after a trip to The Metropolitan. Thank you!

As an ER nurse, please follow the pre- and post-op instructions. Be honest with the medications you take and your health problems. Also, the key for you to get good skin care results is to also get an annual checkup so that you know you are not pre-diabetic or have an auto-immune disease. Having one of those conditions may be doing more damage to your skin if you get a laser treatment. I just had my first VenusViva treatment with prp. Holly did my treatment and she is a very experienced and knowledgable technician. She also thoroughly reviewed my paperwork asked my questions about the types of treatments I have had in the past. This shows that she is curious and has a vested interest in her client's skin care goals. I felt valued as a client and I am so glad that I chose to buy a package of the treatments. I also like that the owner offers the venus viva at a discounted price once you purchase the package of 3. The people working at the front desk are friendly and amazing as well. I like the Venus Viva because my skin was not burning for 2 days afterward like when I have had other fractional laser treatments. I wanted to find a laser treatment that provides the same results but with less burning and less downtime. I think I can find that with this laser. I have had 3 Fraxel Dual treatments and 4 pixel treatments. I did have good results with those treatments in my 40's. The Fraxel Dual did help fade my melasma caused by oral contraceptives. But, here is my concern. Those treatments were so hot, that I question if some my facial fat was slowly melted away from the heat of those lasers. I am thin, but always had "chubby cheeks," as my grandmother would say. I know one looses facial fat with aging, but I question if those lasers reduced some of my fat in my face. I have been to many med spas and this one is a very great spa.

Is it possible to give this place 10 out of 5 stars? Yes, it's just that amazing. You walk in and it is absolutely gorgeous, the workers are friendly and management is even better. Jill, the project manager, always has a smile on her face and really cares about your needs and wants. She makes sure that everything is put into place for your visit. Be sure to talk to her when planning an appointment, she always has you leaving with a huge smile on your face. Obviously I've been going here for a while because I know the team by name, and each worker is fabulous. There are so many different services they offer, it is absolutely amazing. I wish I could stay and get every single service, I think I'd go into relaxation overload!! I can't wait for my next appointment at my favorite place in Edina!
