First, I want to say that the quality of the work was great, and they were very responsive to questions and concerns. However, there were a few aspect of the process that really disappointed me. First, they had promotional pricing that made us feel very rushed in making a decision, and made us question of the promo price was their real price, and they just over-charged as time went on. If you do choose to go with Mann, make sure they're your last estimate if you want to get the lowest price. Then, they encouraged us to book our insulation on a day that wasn't as great for us, because they had promised their boss to fill a spot on that day. Thirdly, when the guys came out to do the work, they showed up 3 hours early, and we weren't home. The biggest issue we had was that a company other than Mann came out to do the actual work. The company, NorthStar, did awesome. But we were not told ahead of time that we would be working with a different company. Additionally, there was different information coming from the two companies. NorthStar told us that they were subcontracting with Mann, while my contact at Mann told us they were working on a merger. Either way, we would have at the very least expected to hear about that before signing off. Additionally, the notes that had been taken by my contact at Mann weren't ever communicated to the guys who came out to do the work (for example, that a dam may have to be built around a window). The lack of communication from Mann to both me as a customer, and to the company that came out to do the work was concerning. Although the work was high quality, the interactions didn't leave me feeling confident. I wouldn't recommend Mann to a friend because of this.

I was hesitant to use these guys based on the previous Yelp reviews but their Google reviews were really good. Alex from Mann Brothers came over and was really quick and responsive. I usually hate companies that say that you get a discount if you sign up with them immediate - he offered a discount if we left a deposit within the first three days. (It always feels like a gimmick to me.) We did not sign right away but thought about it overnight and ended up making the decision the next day. Alex did come back to pick up our deposit and was able to schedule our attic insulation within a week. I believe the work was actually subcontracting to Northstar Insulation, but the whole experience was amazing. We are really happy with everything and everyone was really conscientious and timely. Really happy that we went with Mann. The work looks great and we are hoping for some cost savings in our electric bill! Overall, the price was right!

I got an estimate on insulating a crawl space. After paying a deposit I found that I couldn't move forward with the service. I called my estimator and he said he would call the office to get my $2750 refunded. After waiting a week, I called their office but was not able to get through. I called three times in three days and NEVER got an answer. Still waiting on my refund!
