My 9 year old daughter loves it and has been going for 2 years. Instructors and helpers are great! It's obvious they actually enjoy working with the kids. The atmosphere is open, friendly, and respectful to all.
Signed my 9 year old up for a free intro class. I was impressed! Staff are friendly and professional, greeting us right away when we came in. My son was welcomed and jumped right in. The instructor had the kids moving and engaged the entire 1 hour class. Struck the right balance-lots of learning and reasonable expectations, while maintaining a fun and comfortable environment for a youth sport. Kids in the class seemed to like the instructors and I could tell they were approachable and kind. At the end of the class my son ran to me and asked if he could sign up for more, and we did!
This place is like family for me. Here I have not only improved my physical and mental health but I have also grown in confidence. This school is technically sound and also clearly loves its students. If you are looking for traditional martial arts with a focus on improvement of the entire person this is the place for you.
