“This program has been an incredible boon for our 7 year old. He was struggling with some self-confidence, discipline, and interest in martial arts.Master Hoops orientation not only introduced us to the concepts of taekwondo, but more importantly, their core values and what they teach beyond the techniques. They value respect, discipline, and creating healthy habits in your life. Part of belt progression includes engaging with their teachers and community, family life at home, and practice and routine.Through his lessons, our son has learned to balance his fun with important things and provided us a curriculum and reward system for encouraging him to take on more responsibility and be respectful. The taekwondo skills are great for focusing his body and finding healthy outlets for his energy and strength. I am interested in joining myself to learn alongside him, and they have a family model that encourages that. For the price of the program, you get classes twice a week at your skill level, and equipment is included as you progress and advance. It is an ATA program that teaches Songahm taekwondo to be specific.“
“Master Moon’s Shakopee location is excellent! The instructors are highly talented, genuinely care, and grow their students in the virtues of TKD (and life) such as confidence and respect. My son has been a student for years and loves the strong community!“
“Love this place and Mr Roell. My son is neurodivergent and even in this short time his confidence and his focus has improved by leaps and bounds! His special ed and regular teacher have commented on his level of growth in those areas in the recent months and I attribute it to USA Karate and Mr Roell. He has the patience to work with kids that are neurodivergent and can really connect with them.“
“My son has been going for about a month now and he still loves every moment. The teachers are amazing, especially with their youngest students. Can't recommend them enough!“
