Our dog is a very reactive boy who has exhibited aggression towards vets. We made an appointment just to get him an annual checkup with the understanding that he needs to be fully sedated in order just to get basic medical care. Instead of just sedating him to get the appointment over with our vet sat down with us to discuss a plan to figure out medication and meet with a vet behaviorist to help make the appointment as stress free as possible.
