It seems like the present 2.4 stars is harsh, but after dealing with them recently, I feel that is extremely generous. After a physical, blood test and EKG I was told I would hear from my Doctor within a day (call /Mychart) but after 3 calls (talking with nurses) and promises of nearly immediate follow ups, I've received no calls, no My Chart updates and have been dropped from lengthy holds. It's now been over 2 weeks later. I normally would care much if my results were normal, but they are not, which makes this feedback important. Apparently, they don't care about my health.
When one pays premium price for health care (out of pocket) ito examine and correctly diagnose a medical condition (possible fracture or broken bone in this instance), if the clinician is not a medical doctor, this should be clearly conveyed to the client so they decline service and go elsewhere where medical doctors are employed. I was not seen by an MD, rather a DO, who did not know anything about my injury and merely referred me to orthopedic Drs. at clinics I told him I would NOT go to since I already have an orthopedic Dr. with whom I am working. This is our neighborhood urgent care. They have this thing called “call ahead now” which we use because we have a little girl and waiting for hours is terrible when she is sick. I’ve used call ahead twice and It doesn’t expedite the process at all. We waited in the waiting room for over an hour, finally got back to a room and waited for over an hour. Of course I have a sick 2 year old, the nurses try to get in and out so quick and say the doctor will be in soon. I finally went out to the nurse desk where 4 people were sitting looking at their phones and asked when we could see a doctor to get our sick child out of this place.
