I take my daughter to see Julie (the curl whisperer). Seriously, Julie does an amazing job and is a great person who is fun to talk to!
I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone that has any amount of curl.

Julie is absolutely nothing short of amazing. Her prices are extremely affordable and She is truly the only person who has ever understood my curls. I have gone to specialty salons that specialize in curly hair but none of them compare to Julie's expertise. The fact that Julie has biracial children of her own allows her to really understand curls on a deeper level. I have been receiving deva cuts from her for two years now and have gotten both styling and semi-dye services from her and everytime she always meets my expectations and more. I have also seen her cut my sister's hair who has a completely different curl pattern than I do and again, the haircut was fantastic. I honestly hope Julie doesn't retire anytime soon because it has taken me years to find someone who is very educated about curls the way that she is. Julie is truly a curly hair guru and I recommend her to any curly girl no matter what pattern or texture you have.
