Went to Health Partners clinics in Twin Cities for 40 years but moved back. Been going here 3 years now and it has been good with annual physicals with Dr. Whiting. Labs, x-rays have all gone smoothly. I go to the Virginia clinic and sometime Duluth to see any specialists. It is great having clinic, hospital, ER and rest home all in same place and lucky to have any of that in Aurora to begin with! Essentia's MY Chart works great for on-line stuff. Much happier now getting my meds at White Drug in Hoyt Lakes verses CVS in Virginia.
We are so fortunate to have this clinic in our area. Ann Vreeland is my primary provider and I know if she doesn’t have the answers to my problems she refers me quickly to who I need to see. Their ER is staffed by knowledgeable and caring people and I’d rather come here than go to Virginia.
The reception staff was great but the experience with our doctor, Sharon Stark, was unsatisfactory, to put it nicely. First, and foremost, she acted like answering my questions was annoying her. She told me she thought she heard a heart murmur in my toddler, a completely new and foreign concept to us up to this point, and I had to hit Google to find out that most murmurs are innocent and resolve with age. Seems like something my doctor should have mentioned, right? She was just too busy being an arrogant A-hole to answer a concerned parent's questions about her child's heart. We will be requesting a new doctor and hope for a better experience. I will not take my child back to that j**** I hate that I even have to post this personal info, i just hope to express just how concerned we are, and just how unhelpful and rude this doctor was. I have never had to complain about a doctor before, but I've never had one behave that poorly in our interaction with each other. I hope she's just having a bad day, and she doesn't treat everyone that callously.
