Dr. Rachel Nolander-Poppel is probably one of the most skilled smile smiths in south central Minnesota. She’s fun and easy to talk to, maybe a little intimidating but not in a bad way at all- she’s just obviously intelligent and driven.

I have a real PHOBIA of dentists which mostly stems from childhood of the numbing agent numbing everything else in my mouth except my tooth that they were working on! Talk about torture! See I have very poor enamel and it does not matter what I eat or how many times a day I brush and floss, my teeth just easily get cavities and rot away. I had 4 wisdom teeth taken out, I believe at an oral surgeon in Rochester, where I was awake for it but they numbed me up properly and it went really well. A molar I got removed a couple years ago at an oral surgeon's place in Owatonna was a horrible experience where I paid over $400 for a tooth that I felt EVERYTHING as they ripped it from my mouth. That experience stuck with me and so I was putting off going to a dentist again until I absolutely had to because I had broken teeth and bad infection and gum issues that were starting to affect my life. I was crying and shaking because I fear dentists. After doing a google search and looking at google reviews and seeing what the dentist websites said I finally settled on trying out Fountain Lake Family Dental here in Albert Lea. They have been the kindest, most understanding place I think I have ever been! From getting x rays to doing deep teeth cleaning to getting 2 teeth removed it has been a very good experience. I was, as you can imagine, I was scared to death when tooth pulling day came because they said they would make sure I was numb before they pulled teeth and that it would be ok but I have heard those exact words before and it wasn’t that in my past experience at another facility. Well here they were true to their word, the teeth were truly numbed and they asked to make sure as they went through the process plus they did a really good job keeping me calm during the whole ordeal also. This is my dentist I will go to from this point on and I will refer anyone looking for a good one to this place. THANK YOU for being such a great place!

Whenever I need a little sunshine, no matter what season of the year it is, I love coming to Etcetera because of the great gals that work here, affordable prices, & convenient location by our house. It is nice to have their clothing available to look at as well (both used & new). I love grabbing the kiddos clothing when I just need something quick & specific! I highly recommend getting a manicure with dip powder. I am very rough with my hands, doing lots of cleaning and yard work, and my nails have held up wonderfully! They do a great job and are very friendly!

Seriously amazing and quick! We recieved a quote which was absolutely nuts from a different company, So we started to look around. Called Platinum and they were out here super quickly to give us a quote. They started the project the next week, and they were done within 4 hours! Will always go to Platinum for our plumbing needs! Had a part go out on our furnace, it's cold and blizzarding out. I hunted around after work for this part no other place had it. I pulled up to Kelley and the closed sign was up.. I'm thinking great.. then the Kelley truck pulls into the lot, I hop out ask of they closed for the day i just need a sensor. Jim says, "yeah I sent the secretary home due to weather". But come on in let's see if we have your part. Yes, yes he did and it was a very reasonable rate. Outstanding hospitality and service.

A tree fell on my wires connecting power to my house and ripped the power lines off my house and took out the power pole as well , Farmland Electric saved my day and came right away and fixed it and was in contact with the power company so they knew we were ready to get our power back on asap as our pipe would freeze without power, this was my first time working with them and I was super impressed.

I have been coming here since they opened. Dr. Rachel is extremely kind and explains everything really well. I always get put with the same hygienist and it helps relieve my anxiety about coming in. I always know who I’m going to see. The girls at the front desk are also so kind and welcoming too. Great place overall and highly recommend.

I had never gone to a chiropractor my whole life, until after my son was born and I had constant headaches for 3 weeks after he was born. I had tried EVERYTHING they recommended & thought I'd give the chiro the last chance and it was AMAZING! I only go on the rare occasion that I know something is out of whack but it has helped every single time. I really enjoy how Alison Phillips Sorensen takes her time, learns about whats going on, relaxes the muscles with some massage before adjusting as well! I HIGHLY recommend her!!
Dr. Edwards has helped me with my back, knees and TMJ. (Jaw). I trust Dr Edwards with my health. He is amazing! The staff is awesome! When other chiropractors were afraid to touch my back after I got hurt I went to Dr. Edwards.

Recently when I went in to make an appointment with Dr. Wessling because my 14 year old cat would not eat or drink any more on Monday to make an appointment to have her seen they made me an appointment for 1 week later! So I guess they were hoping for my cat to die!
I have lost total faith in the receptionists at South Centeral Pet Clinic! I have always paid my bill! I may have a heart for animals and can not stand to see an animal suffer! That is why I am an animal care specialist and the way they treated my cat when she wasn't eating or drinking wasn't right! If I would have been anybody that did not have the education on how to hydrate your cat my cat may have dehydrated and died!
Love the veterinarian wish he had office people as good as he is!
