The staff, including Shyanne and Allison, are friendly and knowledgeable, providing great haircuts and excellent service in a timely manner. They also offer good shampoos and blowouts. With a welcoming atmosphere similar to a hairstylist's old studio, Snips and Clips makes customers feel like they're in good hands, making it a great place to return for all hair needs.
Shyanne Did my hair and I couldn’t be happier she got all my dead ends off trimmed up my curtain bangs and blew my hair out. Was very easy to talk to her and she knew exactly what to do in a timely manner. She also gives the best shampoos! The Salon is very comfy and super relaxed I was so happy that I could be myself and talk openly with shyanne. Allison is also very nice I was able to talk to her as well, she seems to be running the place amazingly. Definitely will be coming back for all my hair needs!
I am a hairstylist and I recently moved to Grand Rapids. I love this place. It’s just like the Hair studio I had back home. Great haircut, good conversation, great atmosphere. I love it here can’t wait to go back.
My daughter and I had a fantastic experience with Allison! I have thick hair with some natural curl, and had been growing it out for donating. Allison helped me take 10 inches off my hair and then did a spiral perm for the extra boost in curls that I love! It was a lengthy experience due to the thickness of my hair, but Allison repeatedly checked in to make sure I was doing okay and comfortable. You can tell that she takes pride in her work and makes sure that everyone leaves happy with the results! As for my daughter, this was her first haircut and Allison made the experience extra special! She even gave me some great advice for working through tangled. It was definitely worth the little extra drive to support a smaller, local salon… we will be back!
