Would not recommend this company- they are completely unreliable. During a recent snowstorm when we received at least 6 inches over the course of a day, they didn't come out until the next morning. Completely useless. We have also had issues with them in the past not coming out when we've received an inch of snow due to discrepancies in their measuring system. Finally, I can think of at least one occasion they refused to come out because it was "too early in the season", even though it was late November. Save your money and look elsewhere.

If I could give them a zero star I would. They were completely unreliable when I used them. Didn't show up when there were large snow storms and so I would have to do it myself. Then they would say they came out and charge me for it even thought they never showed up. For one big snow storm I had to pay someone else to do it and again got charged by Hillside even though I had the name and phone number of the person that actually did it because Hillside didn't show up. Stay away from them. They are difficult to deal with and don't have any issues charging for services not rendered even when they admit to having problems with the crew.

As a Texas native who has recently moved to Ann Arbor, I was looking for a reliable service to clear snow from my corner lot. Hillside is NOT it. Folks in my neighborhood expect snow to be cleared promptly and efficiently. Hillside would be prompt sometimes and efficient half the time but never both! Not to mention they'd come in the middle of the night, once at 3 AM to clear snow, at times when snow was still coming down. In summary, their service is unreliable and not worth the $500 per season they charge.
