As an out of state bride, I wasn’t able to do a hair/makeup trial until the Thursday before my Saturday wedding. Keri and her team at Amethyst provided me with timely communication and breakdowns of what to expect to ease my anxiety. As someone who doesn’t wear makeup daily (and whose “fancy” makeup is mascara) I was a bit panicked about not looking like myself on my big day. I knew that “natural” was different to everyone but Andrea NAILED what I was looking for, giving me glam while maintaining being true to myself. Keri worked my hair and from the moment I told her “my hair hates being anything but straight”, she got to work. My curls held ALL night long, even with dancing! Both Keri and Andrea meshed well with my whole crew, easily chatting with everyone and bringing relaxing vibes, even though my snowy, rainy, thunderstorm day was anything but calm. They arrived on time and finished early, despite one of my bridesmaids misunderstanding the timeline and running out to get coffee during “her time” and several girls deciding last minute they DID want lashes. Andrea was great! I was looking for a place I could just go for my bridal makeup since I didn’t have bridesmaids and just needed make up for me. She was able to replicate a photo of the makeup I wanted and made sure to check in with me along the way to make sure I liked what my makeup looked like. Highly recommend!
Keri and Tabatha are AMAZING. I went here to get my hair and makeup done for my wedding. I also had them do hair and makeup for my Matron of Honor and my Bridesmaid. Keri and Tabatha are very talented and a ton of fun to be around, I enjoyed my time with them a lot. They are very accommodating and super helpful in making sure that your look is perfect. They also go above and beyond: my veil fell off the hanger and got really wrinkled. I didn't notice until that morning, but Keri and Tabatha were not going to let my veil stay wrinkled. They helped to unwrinkle the veil and did everything to make me not stress about it (they even said, "you're the bride, you aren't going to be worrying about that or doing that"). I cannot thank them enough.
