A treasured and well loved lined wool jacket got a hole in the elbow from too much wear(probably my office chair and I should probably work less but that beside the point). Well I needed it repaired and after searching for a tailor nearby, I stumbled upon Fred. Located in the basement of Westland Mall is his little shop. When I first arrived he was not in his store. He however soon appeared from the stairs and greeted me. After taking a look at my garment and asking what I would like done, he stated his plan and gave me a very reasonable price. He asked when I wanted it by and then essentially said he would have it done the next day(wow that’s fantastic was my thought)....read full review
Fred is very nice and quick! He had me try on the outfit to show the problem and he had it fixed within 30 mins! He runs the shop by himself so I was pretty shocked, but he had a line out of the door so that told me he was already good. Definitely worth the wait and the $25, would highly recommend
My husband's suits have never looked so good, or his suits fit so well. The owner is a artisan with a needle. This is expert tailoring at its finest. Every suit my hubby has worn in the past always looks like he slept it it. But NOT after we found the tailor at Thimble Wiz. When he finished with them they look like they were made for his body. Old world skill. I highly recommend Thimble Wiz and Fred!Services: Suit tailoring
