A treasured and well loved lined wool jacket got a hole in the elbow from too much wear(probably my office chair and I should probably work less but that beside the point). Well I needed it repaired and after searching for a tailor nearby, I stumbled upon Fred. Located in the basement of Westland Mall is his little shop. When I first arrived he was not in his store. He however soon appeared from the stairs and greeted me. After taking a look at my garment and asking what I would like done, he stated his plan and gave me a very reasonable price. He asked when I wanted it by and then essentially said he would have it done the next day(wow that’s fantastic was my thought). I arrived the next day to pick up my jacket and he showed me his alterations made. The hole has been fixed, a slight seam/stitch was placed and I am a happy camper who has his favorite golf jacket back!! I will be taking any alterations I need done to Fred so long as his business and Westland mall remains open. Thank you Fred.

Homespec did a long overdue foundation crack repair on my 15 year old home we have had since building. They quoted only what was needed and didn't try to sell me on anything else. My daughter and I absolutely love Lisa to pieces! She has been cutting my hair for over 20 years! I've followed Lisa to a few different salons. Lisa also cuts my daughters hair which is super thick and curly. She's reasonably priced for her quality service. She takes her time. She massages my scalp while she washes my hair, adds lots of layers and checks that both sides of my face frame is even. I don't like having an appointment when Danielle is just sitting there with out any clients because I like to talk to Lisa while she cuts my hair about personal stuff sometimes and ask her about her family. So I started making my appointment on Wednesday nights while I know Danielle is not there. One time Danielle called me back after leaving a voicemail at the salon. She asked me if I was sure if I wanted an appointment with Lisa. Ofcourse Danielle I'm Lisa's client duh are you trying to steel her clients? Typically on the evenings when Danielle and Lisa are working together Lisa runs to answer the phone everytime. In between cutting our hair. Why can't Danielle just go answer the phone she's sitting there on her cell phone without clients not doing anything or go home for the day. Now I see why, because Danielle needs to work on her customer service skills when answering the phone. She put me on hold because someone else beeped in. Then she came back on the line. I need a 2 hour block with Lisa so my daughter and I can get our haircut at the same time. The 1st available is 3 weeks out. So I wanted to see if we could get in sooner if I did our haircuts at 2 different times. Danielle said "are you going to make this appointment or not?" Yes yes I am Danielle clearly I'm trying to! She said I've got hair processing I've got to go. The owner Judy must be there today so that's why Danielle is actually answering the phone. If you'd like a great hair cut ask for Lisa she has a booked schedule so make your appointment way ahead of time! Lisa is good at what she does and everyone loves her!!! For now on I'm going to book our hair cuts on Wednesday ahead of time once Lisa is done cutting our hair so I don't have to see or talk to Danielle at all!!!

I hardly do reviews, but this barbershop blew me away. I went to “hair mechanix” yesterday and the stylist really messed up my hair and line up on my beard, my intention coming to Mayz was just to look presentable and fix someone else’s work. Mayz went back over my hair and completely transformed the horrible fade I walked in with and really took care of me, this is by far the BEST haircut I’ve ever had, and my beard has never been lined up this well, sideburns faded into my sides and all, looks amazing. You can see the experience and talent from these gentlemen the moment your haircut starts, the attention to detail is immaculate, a great atmosphere has been created here. Found my new barber and will not be going anywhere else, you will not leave this barbershop with a less than perfect experience. Thanks again Mayz!

My daughter and I went for pedicures at the last minute and they made time for us. Very cute shop, technicians were really nice. I gave free range for my technicians to do as she thought would be best. She kept it simple so I’m okay with that. My gel polish last a very long time which is very pleasing. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Came with some thin & damaged toenails, but they were gentle and removed my old shellac seamlessly. I got the standard pedicure and it was the best one I’ve had in a long time, got a proper scrub, massage, hot towels, cleaned up all the dead skin and did a smooth paint job! Also squeezed in an eyebrow wax and they were so gentle and fast. Will continue coming here to get all put back together

Today was my first appt. and it will be my future hair salon from now on. Tina the lovely lady who styled my hair is very genuine, intuitive and did a wonderful job on my dry, thick, coarse mop. I showed her a photo of the cut I wanted and it turned out beautifully. She only does what you ask and checks in to make sure that she is doing what YOU want.

I’ve gotten two tattoos from Katrina so far and it was a great experience both times (there will be many more times). Her free-hand drawing skills are fantastic and she really knows how to take an idea or image and make it unique and personal for her clients. The intuitive touch she has for tattooing is spot on and the end results are so worth the time (efficiently, mind you) it takes to draw them out. She made getting a neck tattoo a pleasant thing.
Erin and Rev. Scott were both working with their own clients as I was being tattooed and it was a good time full of laughs and banter between everyone. They take care of their people here. Good vibes all around!
I can't recommend this place enough! I got my piece done by Ash. She was so gentle, kind, and overall great company to be around! She took her time on the piece, and also took her time to get to know me as a person. Which made our roughly 6 hours together so much more relaxing. This shop is so uplifting and relaxed, which is great because some shops can be a little intimidating. The artists around us were all very fun to be around, which made my session so much easier to relax and enjoy. The owner (I assume he was the one I talked to) was super friendly and easy to talk with. The artists all have such unique styles and personalities, but all come together like one big family. I highly recommend getting in with Ash if you can, but if not, you're in good hands either way. I'll definitely be booking my future pieces here.

Kennedy pierced my 10 year olds ears for her. She made her comfortable and reassured her the whole time. It was such a great experience! Not a single tear was seen and she said it was just a slight poke. No pain! Already recommended her to a few others that have children looking to get their ears pierced. ?

Best Plumbing got me out of a bad situation on the same day!! Other places I called couldn’t get me in till the following week! Tub handle broke, could not turn off water all the way so water kept running at a good clip and the shut off valves to tub didn’t work! They were out within a few hours of my call and put in new tub fixtures and shut off valves! Erik & Nick did an awesome job!! Highly recommend!!

Shawn, the owner of Zander Contracting, designed and constructed a shed for some extra storage at my house. His design allowed him to efficiently utilize the limited space available in my backyard. He worked diligently to complete the project on a very tight timeline and his strong attention to detail was refreshing! I would highly recommend using Zander contracting for your next project; big or small. Shawn possess a vast skill set ranging from construction, flooring, drywall, tiling, roofing etc. His prices were also very reasonable; especially considering the level of detail in his execution. Not only was the person who answered the phone extremely pleasant, Cut My Tree Down/Bushmasters was more affordable than any other quote I received, they also showed up promptly when they said they would, did the work efficiently like a well oiled machine, and everyone was polite and friendly. First time I came here, I had a great time. Today I came late but was accommodated happily. I came in with a deep pain in my back from bad sleeping posture and I must say I left there very happy and feeling overall better. Tiatia gave me the best massage of my life.
