I have visited PCShards three time and have always been provided excellent service. On my first visit they were able to recover pictures from some old CDs which on my computer were unreadable. My second visit was prompted when I was trying to replace the battery in my otherwise fully functioning laptop. The last screw just would not come out and was starting to strip. Ed was able to extract it and did not charge me for this service. Sadly the new battery I purchased was bad and would not take a charge. I returned a third time to just have PCShards replace my battery. They turned my laptop around in one day after verifying the new battery's performance. It... read full review

I recently bought a new Dell laptop computer and decided that transferring data from my old desktop computer was a bigger task than I wanted to undertake. I saw the great reviews for PCShards and decided to give them a try, and I was delighted with my decision. They explained the transfer process clearly and concisely, and provided a firm cost and job timing to me. The job was completed faster than they promised and I have been very pleased with the results. I was up and running with the new computer immediately with no problems!

Yes I went to PC shards to have my old computer looked at which was 10 years old and they explain to me being in the age of the computer that I'll be better off to get a new one or I could get that one fixed but it was up to me I want to Best buy and got another computer and brought it to him with my old one and had them transfer everything over because I'm not that good on the computers they did that okay I brought it home and went to go fire it up I couldn't get it going so I called them and they told me to bring it back there with the monitor and they'll get it going and they did and there was a cord that I needed but they had one and just gave... read full review
