“I went to Dr. Hern over 25 years ago in high school and had an amazing experience (she was the kindest doctor I’d ever been to), and started coming back for myself about 8 years ago and then eventually for my children, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice! My son has severe psoriasis and has been receiving Xtrac laser treatments and topicals which have been absolutely life changing for him. I started bringing him here after a pediatric dermatology specialist coldly disregarded my concerns about prolonged steroid use for his treatment (among other negative experiences), and by complete contrast, the doctors at Lifetime were extremely considerate about these concerns, as well as my reservations about biologics at my son’s young age (9). They were compassionate and kind and listened to every word I said, even bringing in other PAs on staff to deliberate with during his initial evaluation, and worked with me to come up with a treatment plan that continues to work wonderfully for him almost four years later.<br><br>I have also brought my other children for various minor issues over the past several years, and continue to receive treatment here myself. We have primarily been seeing Katie, who continues Dr. Hern’s legacy of exceptional and comprehensive listening to concerns and providing the utmost in compassionate, gentle, and highly skilled care—she is amazing!<br><br>I also want to acknowledge the rest of the staff at this practice (especially Andy and Lisa), because every single individual we’ve interacted with has been wonderful, which is extremely rare in my experience. There have been doctors I have loved but whom I dreaded appointments for because some (or most) staff members were so unfriendly—but that has never been the case here. ALL of the front office staff—as well as the nurses, medical assistants, and PAs—are warm, welcoming, kind, caring, and truly professional.<br><br>The entire office (front and back) is immaculately clean and I love the crisp, modern decor; the entire place is well organized, and aesthetically very pleasant and comfortable. We rarely wait more than a few minutes to be seen for any appointment, nor do I wait long once in a room, which demonstrates to me that their planning, communication, and treatment are efficiently coordinated and executed by all members of staff. I have never once felt like I’m an inconvenience to anyone here either, and I genuinely look forward to appointments and seeing so many friendly faces.<br><br>Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this exceptional practice and would give them ten stars if I could!“

“I've been coming here for about 5 years since my fiance recommended them. He had a large mole removed when I said I didn't "love" it when we first met. You could pull on it! Which I did! This place is phenomenal and I've only used them for dermatology reasons, specifically eczema and acne. I get cystic acne, just one every few months and it will need to be injected with steroids or it was be huge and I'll have to hide in my house for a week. They get me in within 24 hours every single time. I've had to wait longer for those appointments which is very expected if they get you in 2 hours after you call. Anyone that complains about waiting at a doctor's office is a brat. Sorry. There's other people with more serious issues and we don't know what's going on back there. I've never had any scars from any steroid injections which is rare as it can cause scaring. They've done a perfect job every time! They've even popped them for me! I plan to go in for a chemical peel or laser soon as I need it so bad! I'll be calling soon!“

“Dr. Ghaemi is extremely knowledgeable and one of the best dermatologists I’ve seen. What may be undiagnosed from another dermatologist will be easily noticed by Dr. G. His office staff is very friendly and helpful. Their main concern is the well being of their patients, not like other offices where they just look at you as another number. If you want your skin issues handled correctly and efficiently, go see Dr. G.“

“I have been a patient of Dr. Balle for almost a decade. He is TRULY one of a kind. I have never experienced just warm compassionate bed side manor from a physician. He makes eye contact, actually listens to you and offers knowledgeable and helpful information and support. I will always recommend him to others because he really is the best!!!In November of 2021, I was attacked by a dog and had to get almost 30 stitches in my face leaving me with a large and noticeable scar. Once the stitches were removed and I was healed, I immediately went to see Dr. Balle to discuss options for scar treatment. After my scar consultation, Dr. Balle offered to complete all necessary laser and other cosmetic treatments FREE OF CHARGE!!! During one of this most difficult times in my life, this was an amazing blessing. I am so grateful and appreciative of everything Dr. Balle and the amazing staff at the office have done for me. “Dr. Catherine Caretti is phenomenal and has amazing bed side manner, young, professional, and very thorough. Dr. Richard Ferrara has been practicing for well over 20 years and is very knowledgeable. He has an extensive collection of awards and magazine articles recognizing the work he’s done in the field of dermatology. There’s also the Physician Assistant John Sobotka who’s been practicing for 15+ years who has a large variety of skills such as being able to provide slecrotherapy.<br><br>Their staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable if approached with respect and kindness!<br><br>Per the office policy copays are due at the time of service which is completely reasonable.<br>In my opinion some people need to understand these numbers are not being “made up”, exceptional offices take the time to verify eligibility, deductibles, copay’s etc for every patients prior to appointment.<br><br>Being a specialist office it was a bit hard to get in as a new patient since there’s only 3 providers (with only one being a female) I waited approx. a month to be seen.<br><br>After being seen I couldn’t be more pleased. Dr. Caretti was discrete extremely professional and resolved my issue for me immediately.<br><br>Some days are hard. Not everyday is going to be rainbows and butterflies, be kind to your workers in healthcare!!“

“Dr. Murakawa is an exceptional surgeon. I came to him because I had skin cancer in the middle of my face, right next to my nose and above my lip. I had nightmares thinking of how my face would look after the skin cancer was removed. The dermatologist I had been seeing just said we’ll do the surgery and then I’ll send you to a plastic surgeon. Instead Dr. Murakawa did the surgery and no plastic surgery will be necessary. If it were possible to give them a 10, I would. The entire staff from the receptionists to the nurses were exceptionally friendly. My appointments were on time. Make sure to read thru all the reviews because Dr. Murakawa gets all 5 stars. Only thing bringing down his rating are comments that are years old regarding office and billing staff.“
