“Would give them 100 stars if possible. Lucy had some sort of paw injury and the best we could find was a vet 25 minutes away in 3 weeks. My wife called and we got in today! Looks like she jammed something into her nail. We have been trying to find a vet since covid and moving.<br><br>Its sounds like it should be easy but our girls have been going to Petco since we moved, one went to vca on Portage for normal once a year thing but it was north of 700 and I had to wait in the car.<br><br>Bye bye Petco, this place is actually cheaper once you get established. Our bill for being new was 106. It would be 46 had we established lucy. Petco only does normal things and only on weekends.<br><br>We gave up on trying to find a vet and now we have one. You guys rock!“

Amazing staff, clean and inviting office atmosphere, great care and commitment to their clients and the animals.<br><br>After several phone call to get my sick dog into a new vet (mine left the practice) I was giving up hope someone would help get him in. The receptionist, Tina was the first person I spoke to who actually offered help right away and suggestions. I was luckily able to get in the same week. I had amazing service by everyone that helped him and the vet (owner) couldn't have been better. Everyone was supportive and made my very stressful week easier. “I've been taking my fur kids to Portage Animal Hospital since the 50's. I have watched vets come and go. Cindy Lunney is by far my absolute favorite. She is not only a great person who connects with her patients and their people, but she is a great vet. I trust her. I know she is going to do her best to resolve any health challenge that occurs. And I consider her my friend.“

“Fantastic business, great people. Unfortunately, they are hit by the vet shortage just like everyone else. When we can get in to get care, the care is exceptional. They've helped me with several of my guinea pigs and our dog. Getting in is super challenging, but when they're able to- they will squeeze you in. They'll explain things so you can understand while showing xrays or other info they've gathered on your baby. They took us in last minute to put our 17 y/o dog down, and for that, I will forever be grateful. She didn't suffer like she could have. It was dignified, and they even sent a sympathy card in the mail afterwards with stamps of her nose and paw prints.“
