She happened to have an opening and I was able to schedule it online. Loved the convenience for my needs, and was out in about 20 minutes. She did a great job and made sure I liked how my hair looked before finishing. Haircut included a wash, hot towel, and shave on the back of my neck. Got home and my family complimented on how good my hair looked. I would definitely come back!“

“I was looking for a barbershop. I'm a senior and wanted a place that knew how to cut hair. I'm not the saloon or spa type and didn't want to spend big money for my little bit of hair. I was impressed while I waited my turn. 1 in the chair and 1 ahead of me. Short wait. While I looked around the shop and listened to the barber and customers interact my thoughts were of the shop my father took me to as a child. I was hooked I've found my barbershop“

“NATE!!!! I booked online with fingers crossed. Mom of two, one boy 13 and one girly 13 months. Instantly felt comfortable walking in with both of my kids. My son was not uncomfortable or nervous and my daughter was jamming to their music.

Nate was super welcoming, along with the other staff. After my son told him what he wanted, he said alright, not a problem but it had to be up to his standards before my son left. That made me SOOOO happy to hear.

Also, homeless man walked in and both barbers helped the guy out no questions asked. It says a lot coming from two men who are in the middle of working for their money. People with a heart work here.

My son has curly, biracial hair and has never felt satisfied with any haircut. UNTIL NATE!! Thank you guys for giving my son some added confidence before his school year started.

“I don't go to barber places since I usually cut my own hair, but recently I've been growing my hair out. I've got long curly hair that is quite difficult to handle, I came here for a cut and some styling. My barber, Andi, was able to recommend a couple of different things we could try and did a fantastic job with the final results.

Requested style: Mid length haircut, style was recommended by barber.

Hair type: Long curly and frizzy hair.

“Had been wanting to try this place for a while & was finally able to take my son last week. We previously alternated between Goodfellows and Great Clips; cuts and staff friendliness are always hit or miss with both, and now that Goodfellows requires appointments it’s just become too inconvenient to bother anymore.

Opening the door to Sands’ for the first time was an AWESOME first impression: the inside was beautiful—classically decorated with a modern touch, and super clean and comfortable—and we were immediately greeted by a VERY cheerful, smiling, and welcoming stylist (I believe possibly the owner), who was already in the middle of a cut, so my son went to stylist Jesse’s chair. Jesse was super friendly as well, and I showed her a reference picture of what my son was hoping for. Previous stylists always took off more in the front than he wanted even after requesting it to be left longer, but Jesse was very attentive to his request and absolutely NAILED his cut to a T!!! He has never had such a great haircut. My son is 12 and kept commenting afterward about how nice it was that Jesse checked in with him throughout the cut about how he wanted his hair length, as no other stylist had done so prior and it made him feel very grown up and in control of the outcome.

My son also loved being able to watch some sports on the TV which was positioned high on the wall for the clients but quiet and subtle enough to not bother anyone waiting.

I came with cash but was very pleased to see that they accept cards as well, which is so convenient when you make an unplanned stop.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough—I’m so happy we have finally found our favorite barbershop and thrilled to give our business to an establishment that CLEARLY values its customers!!!“
