Not sure if this is actually their business location, but regardless, Big Beaver Plumbing was quite professional and helpful for what I needed.The city of Troy tasked my home with a Backflow Testing request. This company was listed on the back of the form that I needed filled out. I called BBP up and spoke with Martha about what the heck this task was that I needed to have done!She explained the entire process of what someone would be coming out to do. Within the week we had someone come out to do the backflow testing.When Tom arrived, he explained that he had been in the business for a long time and made me feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing. I asked to stay outside with him as I was curious as to what he was going to do, and he agreed to allow me to watch. It was $100 for the testing and $20 to come in the house and show me where the valve was to turn off, which was fine because like I said, I had no idea what was going on really.The equipment he was testing failed initially, probably due to it not being used in over a decade. He took most of the system apart, cleaned it (it was clogged with dirt), then put it all back together, retested, and the system passed.Very professional and got the ridiculous job done that the city (which I found out was also the state of Michigan), was asking. Just wish Troy would reimburse me!

I used Big Beaver Plumbing & Heating for backflow testing on my sprinkler system that is mandated by the city every three years. They provided a very fair quote for the testing and arrived on time to what was promised. Despite my system needing minor repair, (cleaning out an old earwig nest and installing a bug screen) they did not increase the agreed upon price and filed both the failed test and the passed test (after repair) with the city. I feel like other companies would have used the need for minor service as an opportunity to change more (even though the repair took less than 10 mins per the report provided). Fantastic service! Will absolutely use this company again in the future.

Martha and Robert were kind, knowledgeable and the best in business. Robert they serve only Troy. We would highly recommend big beaver plumbing to anyone around us.
