I was having some serious medical issues and hadn't secured a primary care doctor Up North. I called around to several practices and no one was accepting new patients BUT TBIC. Amanda Gross was available and she has been a true lifesaver for me, as we worked together to find a treatment for my anxiety. I love that they have a policy that you must get a yearly physical...something that is so important but many of us don't take the time to do, especially since many things when caught early can be cured/fixed. Prior to my retirement from Traverse Bay Internal Medicine in October, 2023, I had the honor and pleasure of working with most of the current providers at TBIM on a daily basis dating back over as much as a 3 year timeframe. I was impressed by their consistent commitment to delivering comprehensive, compassionate, high quality health care. This is a commitment that they have continued to uphold. This is the best office ever! The team is caring and compassionate. Never wait for more than a few minutes to be called back. Very responsive returning calls. Marie, Tara, Dr Pohl and the front girls are amazing! Tara helped me transfer when I needed a new PCP. Can't say enough about them. If your looking for great PCP's this is your place.
