My 14 year old kitty Lula saw amazing Dr. Henshaw yesterday. He was very thorough, kind and gentle with her. The assistants gently and carefully cut her nails. I asked endless questions about my kitty's health, and he was patient, taking more time with us than I've ever experienced with a vet before. We are new clients, as I just moved back to Traverse City recently. This was our second appointment, due to a concern I had, and we were seen quickly. I very highly recommend Oakwood Veterinary Hospital!
Recently took my 17year old cat "Scout" for general exam. Dr. Mason was exceptionally kind and caring with Scout and appreciated the phone call regarding recent blood tests and recommendations regarding his care. Dr Dana is also exceptional with Scout and clinic staff and Techs are consistently very nice.
I just can’t say enough good things about Dr. Henshaw and the staff at Oakwood Veterinary Hospital. In spite of being a thriving and busy practice, the staff is always caring, patient, and never rushes us. Dr. Henshaw is fantastic with the multiple health issues of our 17-year-old Yorkie/Lhasa mix. I appreciate how Dr. Henshaw anticipates our concerns and understands our needs regarding the care of an old fella near the end of his life (although with Dr. Henshaw's gentle manner, our dog keeps on surprising us!). He’s also great with our cat, treating each animal with care and compassion. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Henshaw!
