I had my first experience with this shop earlier this week and it won't be my last! I got tattooed by one of their summer guest artists (Jade Lindsey @jadebot_), but the atmosphere and regular artists and owners at Northwoods sold me on coming back when I'm ready for my next piece. They make you feel very welcome, the paper work process was easy, and Hayley answered my questions happily. They had water and snacks, great looking merch, and places to sit while waiting for my appointment which I always appreciate. My experience with Northwoods was above and beyond what I expected. I truly could not have asked for a better experience. I was very anxious about getting my first tattoo but after I made my inquiry, I receive a prompt response and was scheduled quickly. Everyone was very kind and patient and was great about answering any questions I had. The shop is very clean and has a fun aesthetic. I looked over the works of several tattoo shops in the area before making a decision on where to go and I can say without a doubt that Northwoods has some of the best artists in northern Michigan.
