Mathew Kanyo, we always take our staff's health and well being into consideration. But we also ask 4 weeks notification for time off which is in the employee handbook, which I have a signed acknowledgement page from the person in question. This employees official full-time start date was 12/31/2024 and on that same day they requested to have 1/2/2025 off in the morning, which was given (that is two day notice, not 4 weeks). We ended up giving her the full day off not just the morning, that way she wouldn't have to rush to come in.
