I am in the process of building our dream home here in Tawas City. The property has a unique look and I wished to keep it that way. One of the biggest obstacles during the build was raising the house, to keep water from settling around and under it. This meant a huge amount of fill sand and dirt was brought in, creating a rise in elevation to the front of house. As I was trying to visualize the future landscaping nightmare, it me. I needed a retaining wall. This was out of the scope of my builder, so I asked one of the crew where I could get boulders. He told me about J.G. Michalski. He said he might have what I was looking for.I called and talked to Jared and told him what I was trying to accomplish. He said come to his property and take a look. It was exactly what I needed. I called Jared the next day to schedule a quote. He promptly came out to measure and advise me what he would need to do. It did take a little time to get him started but once he and his team were on site it was non stop, even working through the weekend till the job was done.It has turned out better than I imagined. Not only did Jared create a work of art but a highly functional one as well, to allow for water shed. The project came in right on budget and, he even took care of grading issues that he felt needed to be done without hesitation. I can't praise J.G. Michalski enough. Highly recommend them.Rand K.
AVS seawall and deck has completed a project on our lakefront property. The seawall, retaining wall and multilevel stairway certainly exhibited their passion for creativity and project execution. Tina owns First Impressions and is the only one who works there. I have gone there for years then moved away and went to several others for facials and there is no one better than Tina. She is totally devoted to her customers and goes beyond just the a facial -you get shoulder, back feet and hand massage. She is the very BEST and also does reflexology and back facials/massage. I cannot say enough and am thrilled she continues to use her wonderful gifts and expertise- I tell her she can never retire cause I never want to go to anyone else!

Having to bid farewell to my membership due to relocation, I feel compelled to share my exceptional experience with this gym. This gym stands out as the epitome of well-equipped fitness centers. Boasting an extensive array of machines and equipment catering to every conceivable muscle group, it leaves no fitness need unmet. Hot showers, pristine bathrooms, a variety of protein snacks and drinks and even readily supplied disinfectant spray bottles and towels for anyone to use. I rate this gym a perfect 10/10 and commend the staff for their outstanding customer service. Should my travels lead me back to East Michigan, I eagerly anticipate revisiting this gem of a gym.

My dog woke up in the morning very lethargic and unsteady on her feet. As soon as the office opened I called and even though there were no openings in the day, I was offered to bring her in as an "Admit" patient. Dr. Harrison called me while I was on my way to pick her up later that afternoon (after hours) and he explained what they had found. When I arrived at the office, he explained the options to me for both her treatment and lab testing (whether to do it there or have it sent out). All of the staff from beginning to end were very friendly and accommodating.
This has not been my first experience with Dr. Harrison and his staff. A couple of years ago, my other dog became ill and started losing weight. After a few visits with suggestions and no improvements, I made the decision to have him put to sleep (he was a senior dog who had been having seizures for years). The process was very personal. They had us come through a different door so that we didn't have to go through the main entrance (I was very grateful for that, because I was crying). We were taken to a room where he was first given a sedative. I was allowed to spend this time with him while he relaxed and then after he had passed, they let me stay with him as long as I wanted. Afterwards I received a card in the mail, which was signed by every member of the staff.
I would highly recommend this office to anyone with a pet.
