Visited this location because I was staying in town. Definitely not as clean or tidy as my typical LA but I do feel it could be worse. Hopefully just understaffed is the reason. Bathrooms weren’t sparkly clean but good working equipment for the most part

LA Fitness or whatever they want to call themselves nowadays really should invest in a quality (read: fast, easy to connect, reliable) WiFi system. Also, this club stinks of BO and many of the member facilities (hot tub, faucets) are chronically broken, or, “scheduled for mAiNtEnAnCe” as they like to put it. As a grandfathered in member of almost 15(!!!) god amn years I expect better. Harumph! (Ok that last bit was a joke, but all the rest down to the expect better are the complaint hehehe)

The LAF Sterling Heights Mound Road cycle class taught by Frank is the ultimate in terms of continued motivation for each class member to strive to push their cycle workouts to improve. Frank does so from a "real outdoors" perspective as he is an active outdoor rider who brings the outdoor ride to the cycle class experience. He commands the attention of his cohesive class to ride as he would in class with full attention and participation. Anyone not ready to be a willing participant should plan to utilize the cycle room during a time when classes are not in session. No headphones or chitchat, just full participation during class.
