Downriver Urgent Care is a walk-in clinic that provides urgent care as well as wellness exams for a variety of purposes. Our staff is helpful, compassionate, caring, comforting and treats everyone with respect and dignity. Our board-certified team of doctors has the experience and expertise in diagnosing and treating your condition. Our clinic is fully equipped to provide laboratory services and radiology onsite. We even have a pharmacy in the building for your convenience. We accept almost all insurances including HAP & Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Downriver Urgent Care is the closest urgent care location that takes my insurance. After a mishap this morning where I needed stitches, I looked it up, checked their website to make sure they were open Saturdays (they note "7 Days a week, 365 days a year. We are open on all holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. Walk-ins are always welcome").I arrived at the clinic thankful that the parking lot was empty because that meant it could be a quick visit. Nope. There was a receptionist but they had no doctor on site that day. The people there were very nice and had a great sense of humor while I got a Covid-19 test. They were very patient and understand when I needed help and answered all my questions. They answered my calls during the day, but they did say they only have like two people at the phones, which is why they are so busy sometimes, but I didn't have any issues when I contacted them in the middle of the day. Good experience over all.
My mom's 87 and has been going here for over 10 years, it's actually The ONLY PLACE she'll ALLOW me to bring her, when she's ill.She Lovvvvves that doctor!! He's ATTENTIVE and does NOT RUSH with my mom. Since my mom doesn't hear well, and I'm her "ears", He explains things to the Both of us and makes sure neither of us have any questions. He's the only doctor I don't have to fight or beg her to see.
