I have never waited for blood work so long as I have today and am still waiting 36 min later.
I get they are busy but the employees don’t seem too thrilled.
I attend Corewell facilities because of insurance but must say that Henry Ford Health system is far better

51 min later I am finally done. I changed this review from 3 to 4 stars. They are down two people and are extremely busy. The phlebotomist who is an epic super user was especially nice.
Maybe spectrum health shouldn’t be outsourcing these people to save a buck.
It sucks that my insurance is really only accepted to here. Otherwise would find a different place. The front office sucks, just for a simple question they want me to speak to my doctor which I have to pay for and is unnecessary. My doctor already scheduled me for a blood test, but I just wanted additional blood test taken with it. This wasn’t anything serious for me to speak to my doctor. They didn’t give me a chance to respond to my message, they just closed out the conversation. The office who answers the messages are rude when they respond. They shouldn’t be giving medical advice if they aren’t a doctor.

I am giving 3 stars because Dr. West is amazing and the place is clean. But the staff that schedules the appointments are lacking. I made an appointment for a well visit. The person who scheduled it made it at the end of the day to where we had to come back on another day for the lab work. Had she informed me that the labs would be closed by the time of our appointment, I would have waited for a better day to keep things easy efficient. That I will look out for in the future since every well visit needs blood work.
