Flooring in South Haven

“We looove our floors. Jim and the guys at Showcase did a fantastic job. We enjoy the look and feel of hardwood floors but have a concrete slab on our lower level. Since we wanted the same flooring throughout the home, we thought our options for flooring were either vinyl or prefinished engineered wood. Not so! Jim explained that he could install unfinished engineered wood flooring and sand and finish it, just as he would a solid hardwood. Hard yes to that!<br><br>We had Showcase do our separate levels in phases, the lower going in 2 years ago and the upper just completed in March. The floor installed 2 years ago continues to look great, and the recently installed floor, which is on the level with the most natural light, looks like butter. Thank you!!“

“Okay…we haven’t gotten our carpet yet so this review will need to be edited next week…<br><br>We just moved to South Haven from Huntsville AL. I went to Menards for carpet and found something that would be good for our guest bedrooms. But I didn’t realize what a hassle it was going to be— even though they had plenty of this carpet in stock, because I am doing four bedrooms and two hallways, they recommended that I special order the carpet. All the cuts would be made at the factory and shipped to the house. I called the carpet installer who said he would come out to double check my measurements and so forth. But the carpet wouldn’t be delivered for about two weeks.<br><br>I decided to check out the local carpet shop just to compare. I expected to be completely overwhelmed and for the prices to be quadruple.<br><br>As soon as I walked in the owner, Amy, brightly and cheerily greeted me I told her generally what I was looking for, and she immediately showed me several options. One of them was EXACTLY what I wanted… The price ended up being less per square foot than Menards! A guy came out to measure the rooms within an hour! The installers are coming next week to put it in!<br><br>I’ll update after carpet is in. But so far I HIGHLY recommend this shop. They have all kinds of flooring, not just carpet!!“
