Dr Cavender began taking care of my beloved dog of 15 years of May 2025. My dog severed from severe arthritis, extreme joint pain, and inability to eat. Dr Cavender was amazing with giving my dog comfort to live without pain until my son was ready to let our good girl go. When it came to be that Bear could no longer function with dignity, Mount Salem Veterinary took the upmost care that they could have for my family member. My girl Bear was given the upmost care that she could have been given for the end of her life. I am eternally grateful for the care Salem Veterinary gave to my Bear.
Salem is a wonderful place to take your animals to they take very great care of you and your animals if you need a veterinarian for your fur babies please take them there. They are very respectful and they love taking care of animals.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this veterinary hospital. The entire team is made up of literal angels—compassionate, knowledgeable, and always willing to go above and beyond for every animal in their care. They have been an incredible support system not only for our personal cats, but also for the countless rescues we bring through their doors. No matter the situation, they approach it with skill, patience, and genuine care.
