We have had a good experience with Abele's this year. The quality and variety of plants were very good, and it is conveniently located for us. We have made three trips so far and spent over $400, which is easily done. We buy mostly annual flowers and growing mix from them, and we raise our own (organic) vegetable seedlings. We generally rely on .coms for soil amendments and big box stores for half-price perennials at the end of the season. I would like to see Abele have a more abundant variety of garden décor as I have found that other greenhouses in the area do better in that department.
Absolutely great selection of perennials! Multiple colors of the exact plant I was looking for. I had already checked several other large nurseries and the only one that had what I wanted was Abeles. I will definitely be back!
The most impressive greenhouse I’ve been to! They have so many different types of flowers, it takes a while just to see all of your options. I was extremely impressed with how well established their flowers are and healthy they look. Their prices are extremely reasonable, and I found that I actually spent more when I bought my flowers from a grocery store last year. Their employees are so friendly too! As soon as we walked in an employee asked if we needed help with directions. I wish I knew about this place sooner! I will be back next spring for sure.
