“So I'm not quite sure of all of these bad reviews that I'm reading, I have been getting my haircut here for years the key is to find a worker and ask questions before you go in to get your haircut. You definitely want to see a senior stylist that has many years experience. We see laboria. She is amazing she's been cutting our hair and styling and coloring her hair for a very long time, so for all the bad reviews that this place gets, ask questions before your appointment make sure that you're seeing someone that has a lot of experience if you don't want a person fresh out of school. They charge my son only $20 for a haircut, he has a lot of hair he grows it out, he's in high school, he has naturally curly hair, they wash his hair so good give a nice Scout massage and then cut his hair with scissors. That's a whole lot better than going to Great Clips where they're just using a head shaver on you to try to cut and they don't even wash your hair they spray it with a spray bottle. A haircut for myself is about $40 and I have long thick naturally curly hair so they're pricing is fair.“
“I decided to post a review after discovering the negative reviews. I had my 1st re-twist appointment 9/23/22 I googled the address and that’s where I discovered the negative reviews. I have my hair serviced by Key. I yet too ever experience any of the above negativity. From day one of calling the shop I had nothing but the best experiences. At my consultation she was very reassuring and just as excited as I was. At my actual establishment there was no difference from the consultation and she had to do extra work to my hair because it was VERY tangled. Even with the times we had to communicate If I had any questions or any uncertainties she addressed them with no problem. I never felt she is money hungry I actually feel just the opposite. At my first re-twist Key had to do extra work basically a total re-establishment and when it was time to pay she didn’t change her price and I warned her the night before that my hair was a mess of my own doing not properly following the rules. I overdid everything I was supposed to like too much water and too much manipulation. And her response was okay it happens it just might take more time. I can keep going on and about my experience with Key. Too sum it please don’t let any of the negative reviews discourage you from going to Key. She very fair and non-confrontational. I had nothing but the best experience with her along with the other stylist and owner at the salon.“

“This was my first time coming into this location. I called to see if she had any available for today, and she said yes. Our phone conversation was amazing she was very understanding of what I needed to get done. I needed my hair flar ironed with a trimming of my ends. I arrived 15 minutes early, and she was ready for me. She put that white cape on. I could immediately see my end were in bad shape. She did a thorough investigation of my hair, scalp, and ends. She went over the plan she had for my hair and explained everything clearly to where I understood what was going to happen. From that first cut, I knew I was in good hands. She didn't flat iron me first like some stylist I have gone to before. She was able to assess my hair in it natural state and cut what she needed to cut. Then, after flat ironing, she went over her work. I knew from the moment she was done with my hair that it was transformed. I couldn't keep the smile off my face. I'm so grateful for the blessed hands God has given you. Thank you so much. I will surely be back. I will include a before and after pictures.“
