Anna does a fantastic job on my wife's hair and has also done mine once and did a great job. Today, I went to see Amanda Y and she cut my hair and did a great job. “I had my first appointment on 6/22 with Ann Bea and it was an amazing experience. I have 4c hair and when she combed my hair out I could not tell she was even in my head, that is how gentle her detangling process is. The entire process was amazing from the scalp analysis, to her recommending products to promote growth and retain moisture. I do not remember the last time I went to a hairdresser and the process did not feel rushed, she gives you the vip treatment. The hair mist was so relaxing and I can tell she uses quality products. Her space is very relaxing and she is very easy to talk to. Felt like I knew her my whole life. In addition, I like the fact she works on one client at a time we had the whole shop to ourselves, another example of the vip treatment. I recently relocated and had been getting two strand twists for 1.5 years from another salon and I have never seen my twists look like that before. They were so moisturized, neat, and every twist had a little curl at the end. I will definitely be returning, thank you Ann Bea!“

“First time customer. April was kind enough to meet with me prior to my first appointment. We had a conversation about my hair care. She advised me based on her professional opinion and explained to me her approach for treatment of my hair. My first appointment was today. April ensured that her and I were on the same page for services today. I appreciated her friendliness and professionalism. I was happy at the end of the appointment.

As for the salon, I did not receive an itemzied receipt when I left. I thought one would be emailed to me. As a first time customer, I would prefer to see the charges itemized. The salon was warm (although I understand that temerature is a personal thing). There is no space for a client to put their personal things. (no small shelf or hook for purse, water bottle etc.). Lastly, you cannot put a tip on your charge card when payment is due. They have a sign at the register which tells you this up front. I had to create a Venmo account to accommodate the tip process. The salon sent me a link to do a review, which I appreciated.“

“I was looking for new salon, so I decided to try this one. It's a nice salon. The atmosphere is very nice and clean and there was lots of natural light coming in from the large window in the front. The seats for the shampoo area have some kind of built in neck massage, which is nice if you need something like that to relax. I was scheduled for a cut and a color consult. One of the first things I was asked during my color consult was if I considered going grey. I was there for a color consult, so I wasn't really expecting that question and my base color isn't even grey. It's pretty close to white at this point. I had some extenuating circumstances that also affected my hair texture and it's been difficult trying to figure out how to style it and how to smooth it out. The stylist did a great job on smoothing it out and I wished she had recommended whatever product she used before the blowout to actually help with the smoothing process. The style was just o.k., but it's still growing out, so she had to work with what I had. I did notice that when I got home, my bangs were not straight.“

“Number Six Salon is my new preferred nail salon and I highly recommend them. I have going there for a few months (after leaving another salon that increased prices beyond my wallet). It is easy to get a timely appointment, the staff is pleasant, and the atmosphere is relaxing. There is plenty of parking (which was not the case at my last salon) and plenty of colors and services available.
Yes, I will go there again and encourage others to give this salon a try.
