I have needed a haircut and style for about 8 months. I never know what looks best for me and prefer the hairstylist make the decision about what will look best on me for the basic requirements I have. So a coworker had a clean cut (one that looks like it was done with a razor but was done with shears and that tells me someone knows what they are doing) and I asked where he went. Well it was McIntyre's Salon. So I called, booked an appointment for the next day and met with Rubin. They were WONDERFUL, professional. Showed them a picture of what I was looking for. They delivered. Very accommodating. Had a bad experience with previous stylist at another salon, so was apprehensive. First haircut/style in 9 months. Knew how to cut a wedge. Very understanding and desire to have a satisfied, happy client. Have given several referrals. Already scheduled next appointment. Thank you.
I am a student in Kalamazoo who struggled to find a good hairstylist in this area. I needed a cut and color super bad and my biggest worry is not spending a ton of money but still getting quality work. I was recommended to Reuben here at McIntyres and he was AMAZING! He walked me through what he felt was best for my hair and together we decided to go dark and at the end he would give me a nice layered cut! It turned out so nice and I am so happy with it, and I didn't break the bank! He is a newer stylist at McIntyre but for any Chicago girlies, he trained with Mario Tricoci, so you probably already know he's awesome at what he does. Highly recommend!!
