Today was the day I made the appointment somewhere after some research and I couldn't be more happy about the results I received by Lindsey at Coiffeteria. Such a warm and comforting personality, she made me feel extremely comfortable during my appointment. Listened to requests and also was able to make some recommendations based on my face shape/hair type. She took great care with my hair. I do greatly appreciate the kindness of everyone there. “I hesitate to write this review because I don't want to give up my supplier here but WOW Melanie is without a doubt one of the most talented artists and stylists I've ever had. I've been going blonde since I was 17. At 27 now, I've had plenty of stylists over the last decade. If you are part of the fake blonde gang, you know that achieving that blonde is both costly and time consuming. I normally get partial foils all over, plus toner, wash, cut, and style. Not only did she do all of that in like an hour and 20 but her rates are more than reasonable. In my opinion, for her skill, I'd say she's under charging. I left the salon with hands down the best shade of blonde I've ever had in my life. This girl KNOWS her color theory!! Seriously can't thank her enough, I'm due for a touch up and I will be back!!“

“I’ve followed Sophie through 2 salons and now support her at her own business. She keeps up with modern trends and listens to what you ask. Highly professional and truly a fun person to be around. Currently, she is doing builder gel on me which has no tip or extension on my natural nail and I’m obsessed my nails have never been this healthy and long ever! It’s a technique that isn’t really offered in Grand Rapids salons so I love how modern the technique is. I get so many compliments on my nails.“

“Gene, the owner of Edge Salon is a love! His business is inviting, comfortable, and a great place to watch Grand Rapids happen! Great location in a great neighborhood! Ample, safe parking, too!

When I first went to Gene, from a great referral, he listened to me about what I really wanted, and he was 100% perfect from the very start! Since the first time I want to see him, which I believe was over two (2) years ago, and because of his expertise and amazing skills, I get at least 20+ compliments every time I see him! He’s kind, witty and takes what he does so seriously! I’ll never willingly leave him!!! His hair cuts are extraordinary and he knows color like the back of his hand! I actually love going to see him for many reasons!!

I don’t know much about the process but my daughters hair looks beautiful, she makes my very shy daughter feel very comfortable and spends what I feel like is an eternity working on it( I think that’s a good thing). For the amount of time and effort spent on the hair I believe it’s a very fair price and for boosting my daughters confidence it’s priceless.“
