We have a large handmade Red Royal Kerman Persian rug which was in excellent condition for a rug 80 to 100 years old. It sustained heavy clothes moth damage last Spring. We were just sick about it! I visited The Rugport store in Petoskey Michigan, to ask about repairs. Mr. Amir Sultan took the rug to their store in Palatine Illinois, where a Master Weaver painstakingly repaired the missing wool pile eaten by clothes moth larvae. The work took about two months.
