“I had my ear pierced five hours away a year ago and recently wanted to change my earring but couldn't do it at home. I drove to American Pride Tattoos Oxford with my old earring partially out and asked for help. The guy who assisted me was incredibly nice. He sold me a titanium hoop and helped me put it in at no extra charge. He wore gloves and made sure everything was cleaned up properly. I really appreciated the excellent service and professionalism. I would definitely come here again if I decide to get another piercing!“

“I followed Matthew here. He’s done two portraits for me, one color and one black. I couldn’t be happier. This cat is known internationally for his work. He is a very affable guy and the conversation while stippling my skin is good. I have the utmost respect for him. The two he did are of dogs I lost over the years. It must be pointed out I loved these two more than most people.
The black one of The Duke is one week fresh and the one in color of Greystone is 12 years old. Please understand I’m a swarthy, olive skinned Arab and covered in camel hair so Greystone is a little obscured.
The other artists are upper crust too. Nobody here has worked on me but Matthew but I’ve seen their work too and they are also barking with the big dogs. Oh, and the price is more than reasonable. You won’t be disappointed.

Though I am friends with everybody at the shop, it doesn't change their pleasant personalities that keep me wanting to return. “Would recommend this place to anyone that needs a piercing done. Lenny did a great job with my daughters ears and she has had no issues. He even does the aftercare product.She had the pierced before at Claire's but got infected within a few days and they had to be removed. Lenny does it correct with the right equipment and training. Now my wife wants to get hers done here.“

“Dave is a great tattoo artist. He has clear visions for his artwork but also wants the customers input. I picked one design for myself and then let him have free reign to do whatever he wanted. They both turned out amazing. I will be back

Requested style: I chose the dark side of the Moon album cover in a tribute for my dad that passed away. The other design was completely Dave's idea. Very colorful and detail oriented.

Specialities: Dave said his specialty was colors. So I let him put whatever you wanted in one of those spots.

Cleanliness: The studio is very clean, and there's so much artwork around to look at.

Stylist: Dave was great to work with. He knew how special the dark side of the Moon tattoo was to me. He finished it on the second anniversary of my Dad's passing. Also he was playing the album while doing the tattoo. Also while working with him we had great in-depth conversations about numerous topics. Kind of helps put your mind at ease.“

“I am thirteen years old and I was VERY anxious about getting my ears pierced today. I had a great experience, much better than a girl at Claire's with a piercing gun for sure. I had Wayne. He showed me where he was going to pierce and asked if the placement was good, which was very nice. He explained how it would feel and it ended up barely hurting at all. Just a quick pinch like he said. Afterwards, I felt extremely sick and ended up hurling. All the staff there was very sweet and explained to me that it is EXTREMELY normal because of nerves and lowering blood sugar. They got me a trash can, paper towels, and helped me through the whole thing. Although I haven't even had a full day with the piercings, the experience was wonderful.“
