Windows Installation near Oscoda

“Although this review is a longer one, I recommend reading it and seeing how great of an experience we had with Shoreline. We have a house in Oscoda with a cinder block shower in the basement. It was definitely an afterthought back in the day and it was getting to the point where paint was peeling and it was molding at the bottom (even with a dehumidifier) so it was time to get a proper shower. In addition, the shower is located right under the steps to the basement, so there is a weird angle for one part of the ceiling which can be hard to deal with when it comes to tiling the shower. I am part of an Oscoda Facebook group and I posted an announcement for recommendations on any local company that renovates showers. After a few days, multiple people recommended Shoreline and one lady even posted her finished shower to show how great it looked. My family contacted Dave (the owner) back around April 2023 to come out for an estimate and he was able to come during the weekend which was a plus since we live downstate and are only up in Oscoda mainly during the weekends. When he came for the estimate, we knew from that day on that we were going to go with his business. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about what our options were, he was a pleasure to talk to and he was never pushy, items that can't be said for a lot for other home renovation companies, anywhere. Additionally, my family asked if he was familiar with window replacement and if he could build a vinyl railing around our back door for more support with our steps, both of which he said he was able to tackle in addition to the shower.Dave and the team started our shower in late August 2023 and finished the shower, windows and railing around September 25th. For our shower, we decided to install a stationary and handheld showerhead, a bench, a niche in the wall for soaps, a glass door, tile all around and a flush ceiling light.Throughout the entire process, Dave texted me pictures and updates about each job while I was downstate. It was an awesome experience to see the process rather than just the before and after pictures. In addition, when we came up north during the renovations, I let Dave know just so he was aware and you could tell that the team cleaned everything up and had all of the materials piled in the shower, it was incredible.After Dave and the team completed the projects, we went up north and we were thrilled with the results. I found myself often staying in the basement, looking in awe at the beautiful shower, amazed how great it turned out considering what we had before. Everything turned out great, even the tiling where the ceiling was at a different angle for the steps above. The railing looks fantastic as well and matches the one on the other side of our house that was built by another company around 25 years ago. The windows also looks fantastic. They are in our porch and are the crank-out style. They open and close with ease, have built-in screens and look like they've always been there.I attached pictures of our finished shower, railing and windows. We are still blown away with how great everything turned out and how great it was to work with Dave and Shoreline.
