“Our AC started making unusual noises last night so I posted on facebook looking for input and recommendations on who to call.
Jaime at Westshore responded almost immediately with some thoughts on what the issue could be and gave me their information to get in contact and have someone come out.
It later stopped blowing altogether so I called first thing in the morning to get scheduled. Erin was very friendly and helpful in getting me scheduled between other appointments I had already planned for the day.
Brian was my tech and he was very punctual and professional. He diagnosed the issue in a matter of minutes and was able to go get the needed part and have it installed same day.

“We have an older home that does not have in-wall cold air returns so we needed special ductwork done to hook our furnace to the cold air ductwork.
They came out and gave us a quote for the ductwork, a filter return box, and hooking up our propane lines back to the furnace after a remodel.
They gave us a fair quote, and showed up on time for the quote appointment and work on the house. They were not quite finished by EOB on Friday and asked if they could return at the beginning of the next week so they could do the job the right way instead of rushing to finish.
They came back as soon as they opened the next week and finished the work.
There were no "added" fees and they stuck with the original quote despite having to work through some issues due to the age of the house and tight space to work.“

“I called G&W for a furnace and AC tuneup. This was my first time using them and I’m glad I did. Chris was the one who came out to my house and he was very friendly and professional. Through the process it was discovered that I had a cracked heat exchanger in my 20 year old furnace. I know it’s the stereotypical diagnosis but he was able to show us the elevated carbon monoxide readings and while it wasn’t the news I was hoping for they were able to have a crew out just two days later to install a new unit.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of work the installing technicians did. They paid attention to all the small details and really showed they valued craftsmanship. I have no hesitation about using them for all my future HVAC needs. I enjoy supporting small local businesses and they took great care of me.

Unlike some of the other companies in the area that only want to make a quick buck and throw together a shady install G & W went above and beyond.

The day of the install I had to be at work and I called Chris maybe half a dozen times with questions and he was very patient and thoroughly explained the answer to each one. The price for the installation was also very reasonable.

The only thing that still needs to happen is the mechanical inspection but I have no reason to believe that there will be any issues there. I will update once inspection is completed.

As an aside I’m a firm believer in having a furnace checked yearly. Carbon monoxide is a very real danger to a homes occupants and regular servicing can detect problems before they become serious.

The pictures are of the completed installation ( I did not think or have time to take before pictures) the ductwork above the furnace and the vent pipes were previously installed and just reconnected. The ductwork on the left was rebuilt to accommodate a larger filter size.“
