This morning I went to my 1st apt with my new Primary Care Doctor. My current Doctor was moving to a new position. When I arrived, I was asked to fill out a paper with a list of cold symptoms. I was at the tail end of a cold so I was honestly, I still had a bit of a cough and runny nose but no fever. I was brought into an exam room when a woman entered and stated that because I had cold symptoms, I would not be able to be seen. I was flabbergasted. You will not see me because I have a cold? I have been going to IHA for several years and some doctors are better than others, but I highly recommend Dr. Kim. He is a no nonsense doctor that looks out for your wellbeing without hounding you and prescribes what is needed without going overboard.

I have seen 3 different doctors at this location. My current doctor gave me hope at our first visit but since then things seem to have gone down hill. Some of the staff here sound miserable when dealing with patients. I was hung up on by someone from the RX department and was told I would get a call back about it and that never happened. They were a little dismissive about something serious I had going on and also took over 48 hours to send a RX over. Getting a response isn’t consistent through the portal either. This is very discouraging for somebody who would Love to build an established relationship with a good doctor.
