Stopped in for the first time on Sunday (2/6/22) and I am so glad I did. Tony was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable regarding dog food - what to look for (and what to avoid). He took the time to educate me and thoroughly explain the food choices for my golden retriever. The store itself is very clean and well stocked and very fair prices. The grooming station looks very nice, I can't wait to bring my pup here to groom her! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place. I will make the short 15 minute drive to get any of my pet's needs here, from now on. 5/5 recommend.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Joni, the groomer at Pet Valu. She is more than happy to let you watch, so I stayed with Darla. My dogs are both anxious, Darla more so because she has doggie dementia. I was reluctant to take her back to Joni, knowing it would be a tough experience for her, but Joni was so kind and hugged Darla, talking softly to her. Darla was still anxious, but I trusted Joni and knew she would take care of her. Darla and Spanky always look so spiffy when they're done. Joni has talent, class, and love for what she does.
