Love this salon!! My appointment today was for a cut with Liv. I have fine, wavey hair which I don't like unless it's cut a certain way. The only person who's been able to do that is in the Detroit area so I've been trying other stylists in the Lansing area for several years. First, Liv is super easy to communicate with. She clearly understood the look I wanted and explained how she was going to cut to accomplish that. I immediately trusted her because she's confident but not at all cocky. I have visited every salon in Mason. Many hair stylist say they know how to cut curly hair so I give them a try and they have no idea what their doing. I was looking at reviews and came across a review for Lex at Hair & Co that was very encouraging, so I decided to book an appt with Lex. Lex did an amazing job with my color. When I tried to describe how I wanted my hair cut she said she had never cut someones hair that way before but she was sure she could do it. I LOVE my hair cut. She took her time and knew to cut it dry first because when curly hair is wet it is longer and when it dries it springs up. Just finished my appointment with Lex, and I'm never going to let anyone else ever touch my hair! She was so well educated on how to cut my hair to match the style I have been dreaming of for years. She was able to understand what I was looking for even though I wasn't able to give her proper descriptions or have any useful terms for her. She was so friendly and engaging but really allowed me to communicate at each step what I was looking for and needed. She gave me the volume and trim I was looking for that I have truly never been able to find from another stylist.
