TacoMo Dog Training

I started bringing my Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue to Tacomo for training at 3 months old. We started Puppy Pre-school with Erin and Kim which was great for training *me* on raising a puppy and introducing training to my pup. We did some private sessions with Kim to work on specific behaviors (barking, barrier reactivity, over excited greetings, etc). They gave me suggestions and demonstrated proper training techniques - (always with positive reinforcement). Every class/session is followed-up with an in-depth e-mail review on how to train the specific tasks/tricks we worked on in class and gives homework. They are very supportive and loving to all the dogs. I also used their doggy day-care for socialization/play time and Kim was great about scheduling him on days when other dogs he would have fun with would be there. Highly recommend!

Kim and Rick are the most gentle trainers and groomer! Very obvious their focus is on the well-being of the puppers. Just signed up our 9mo ACD for training and previously went through their program with our now 5yo Mini American Shepherd.

We've taken several of our dogs here over the years. Both in group training and private sessions. Highly recommend them. Also, their puppy social groups are great for introducing your puppy to new dogs.
