I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Thompson team. We were staying at our summer cabin north of Manistique when our dog was unfortunately viciously attacked by another dog. We were stricken seeing his leg injuries and knew we needed to take him to be seen but our regular vet is 6+ hours away. The Thompson team was so great. They got him in right away the next day and took such wonderful care of our Laszlo. He’s home resting now and our experience with Thompson was the lone bright spot in an otherwise horrible 24 hours. As awful as it was I’m glad we were able to connect with Thompson and establish care so if anything else comes up when we are back north... read full review

Our dog had a very serious bowel obstruction. Dr. Gustafson did a 5 hour surgery to save his life. He did everything he possibly could to save our family member.. and he did!!! Baxter is doing great. Still a ways to go but they saved him.

Their care and love for animals is wonderful. The knowledge and professionalism is astounding. So much appreciate what they have done for my dog and cat. Can’t say enough good things about them!!!!!
