They take walk-ins, which most people already know this— but sometimes this equals a not-so-great experience. Not here. As soon as I sat down and briefly explained what I needed done to fix my horribly dry, damaged hair (I’m awful at giving directions on this matter, I never know what I want or what would look good on me) the experienced and very knowledgeable Abbey took the reins and kindly suggested what I should do. I took her advice and she expertly washed and cut my hair; I’m beyond pleased with the results! She had her work cut out for her with my hair and she still knocked it out of the park. I've been putting off getting my hair cut since before the pandemic started, and actually I needed to get one in February but missed that window completely. It was with some trepidation that I visited the Great Clips on 23 Mile Road in Macomb Township, due to concerns about social distancing and the wearing of masks. However, I should not have worried. They were professional in every way, nobody in the waiting room, all employees masked, my stylist was able to cut my hair without removing my own mask, which I really appreciated. It was a great experience, I got a great haircut, and at a really great price. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again, and I won't!
