I had been a patient of Dr. King's for YEARS and loved him. However, I have severe dental anxiety of which the staff is well aware. The last day I saw Dr King (summer 2023) I was using the nitrous gas but wasn't ready for the injections yet. Dr King came in to check my status and he seemed stressed or rushed. When I told him that I wasn't quite ready for the injections yet, he lost his temper and actually raised his voice and YELLED at me, "Well, I can't wait forever! I've got other things to do too!!" and he stormed out of the exam room. My eyes met with the dental tech in the room and I asked, "Is he coming back?" She replied, "I'm not sure. I'll go check." I said, "That was NOT acceptable behavior. He can't just have a temper tantrum and stalk out because I'm taking too long with th nitrous! He KNOWS me!! He KNOWS it takes a long time for me to get relaxed and then it takes a long time for me to get numb." I requested that the partner dentist, Dr. Eric Reum, take over my care and I have been SO pleased with his performance. He's so kind, gentle, sweet, understanding, calm, stable, even-tempered and easygoing. I'm very happy and grateful that he accepted my case. My husband has been his patient for years - ever since he joined the practice. My husband speaks very highly of Dr Reum too!

I have been a patient here for many years. Although the staff has changed some, I have never had a bad experience here. Dr King and the team have transformed my teeth. They were in very rough shape 20 some years ago when I made the switch to Dr King & Dr Aloe. They are friendly, caring, fun, and great at what they do. If you are looking for excellent oral care, these are your peeps! They never disappoint, and today saved yet another one of my teeth along with a good amount of money. I appreciate the staff here greatly! Thank you guys for all you do!!

He is the most expensive dentist in western Mi. He wants everyone to have the most updated and costly treatments, where a more practical way and inexpensive, is readily available! And just as effective. The average customer is not living on a Dentist’s salary!
