Started terribly with the initial visit, the lady was insensitive, rude, vague, and distant. We knew she wasn’t the nurse and we wouldn’t have to see her again and the director I spoke with was so kind and then the first nurse was very nice, so we decided to stay with them. Our actual nurse after that was okay, but really let me down the day my mom died. They said when you need us we’ll be there 24/7 in 2 hours at the very most. Everyone (Andrea, Tracy, Kristin & many others) at St. Joseph Mercy Home Care & Hospice were caring, compassionate, professional, proactive and responsive.They went above and beyond to provide excellent care, and comfort to my dearest wife during her last month on earth and care advice and guidance to my son and me.

A patient of mine has this home care agency. Not all but most of the staff didn't follow protocol mandated by law. Had to actually oversee most visits for fear of the staff not doing the best thing for the patient. A lot of home care workers get away with things they'd never get away with if there were supervision. They'll all get old one day, hope they get the same kind of care they gave.
